Saving The Survivors
Saving the Survivors is a non profit company established to treat rhinos and other endangered wildlife that have been victims of gunshot wounds, snaring and facial mutilation.

Enerpac Africa has recently donated two Enerpac WR-5 spreaders together with a control manifold and various length hydraulic pipes to couple the units together allowing the tools to be used at the same time with separate control. The spreaders will be used to keep the mouth of a rhino open while the STS team are attending to teeth and other issues. With the rhino exerting a force of around half a ton when closing its mouth, you can just imagine how much it will help.

"We are extremely proud of the association we have started with Dr Johan Marais and Dr Gerhard Steenkamp and will assist in getting the message out to our entire data base which we hope will bring some additional sponsorship and assistance from these contacts based globally for Saving The Survivors."
