Introduction

SCISSOR MASTS
Available in heights of up to 25m, scissor masts present the ultimate in ease of operation with no additional equipment required. Sectional Poles Scissor Mast was awarded the Shell Design Award in 1983.
HIGHLIGHT MASTS (HI-LITE)
Illumination of large areas like intersections or rural areas (community lighting). By means of a winch and power tool, the raising and lowering of the lamp cage can be done easily by one person. Available in heights of 20m - 40m.
MID-HINGE POLES
Lighter version of the Scissor mast. Sizes available from 6m - 15m.
Lighting of streets, toll roads and security areas.
FLOODLIGHTING
Floodlighting of sport venues, as well as the provision of affordable field lighting for schools and smaller clubs.
STREETLIGHTING
Sectional Poles manufactures a wide range of poles to satisfy every need when streets and/or parks have to be illuminated. Shorter
decorative poles for post top luminaries and poles with curved cantilever outreaches are made in various heights and suitable for planting in the ground or mounting on a concrete foundation.

TRAFFIC SIGNAL SUPPORT POLES
Sectional Poles can offer traffic light support poles for planting in the ground or mounting on concrete foundations.
TELECOMMUNICATION MASTS
Masts meeting the most stringent performance specifications for limited deflection and high survival wind speeds are designed and
manufactured by Sectional Poles to support the antennae specified, for digital microwave networks, rural telephone and GSM telephone networks, TV and FM gap filler stations, radar support, non-directional beacon systems, VHF and UHF communication, amateur band and commercial TV transmission.
LATTICE MASTS
Sectional Poles has the ability to design, manufacture and erect a lattice mast that suits the customers’ specific requirements.
Sectional Poles masts and poles are further used for: flag poles, traffic sign structures, electricity emergency power pylons, commercial signs, observation towers, electric railway line poles, siren towers, rugby goal posts, telephone line poles etc...
DESIGN
All Sectional Poles masts and poles are designed according to the
latest issue of SANS 10225 Code of Practice for the design and construction of lighting masts. Designs to specific specifications such as Euro code can be done at your request. |
