RITZ pumps SA is a German multi-national / SA joint venture that is 77% Black owned. Ritz pumpen DE is 131 years old and based in Swabish Gmuend Germany. We specialise is High head, high volume specially manufactured borehole dewatering pumps and motors made to customer needs; any voltage and deep submersion i.e. bore hole, shaft dewatering, pit dewatering - deep sea applications etc. You save on costs due to our unique modular designs; Heads up to 1600 meters. We also have a sister company specialising in Archemedean Screw pumps for high volume flow and Hydro electricty generation.
We would like to draw your attention to 4 of our new focus products:
- The HDM submersible pump for very high heads with thrust neutralisation technology i.e. pump draws in water from top and bottom – achieving heads of up to 1600 meters.
- The globally patented MS-T range. The Modular Shaft Technology eliminates the use of long shafts which in turn eases maintenance and service requirements.
- The MC-T designed motors for sub sea pressures and made to any required voltage with our Modular Cooling Technology.
- The all new ASC – Axial Split case pump with improved NPSH characteristics.
With the MS-T, for the first time it is simple to stock a pump in component form and to add and remove stages at will. With this product it is possible to use one pump range in different applications and it is also possible to increase / decrease pumps range simply by adding and removing stages. This technology makes very good engineering sense and at the same time has major commercial impact pertaining to planning, stocking, repairing etc.
The submersible Ritz motors in the range 8“ (200 mm) and up are manufactured by Ritz Pumps and are fully rewindable in South Africa. A service workshop is being trained in South Africa to do these repairs.
