Online BOD - Respiration - Toxicity
The BioMonitor from LAR Process Analysers AG is suitable for many different applications, e.g. for fast and reliable load ratio documentation of the influent and effluent of any plant with the aid of either the BOD concentration or the BOD load, for controlling the denitrification at the effluent of any plant by exact dosing of the waste water as carbon source, for adjustment of a constant sludge load by calculating the amount of return sludge with help of the known concentration of biological degradable substances, present at the influent, for water monitoring at water quality monitoring stations.
Toxicity Analysers
LAR's toxicity analyser Nitritox is the "Pre-Warning-System" containing an integrated and self-regenerating nitrifying bacteria culture. This patented and continuously working method allows the determination of toxic events to water within 5 minutes at any time.
LAR's QuickTOC is the online TOC system for the determination of total carbon (TC), total organic carbon (TOC), total inorganic carbon (TIC) and dissolved organic carbon (DOC) suitable even for the most difficult waste water applications.
The high temperature method with combustion at 1,200�C guarantees the complete oxidation of the sample. Loads with a salinity up to 2% will be easily melted at 1,200�C too.

On-site, portable heavy metal monitoring
The PDV6000plus is the most sensitive and flexible portable heavy metal monitor
for water and soil samples currently available. The system is suitable for a wide
range of applications including Drinking water, River water, Wastewater and Soil with detection limits as low as 100 parts per trillion (ppt).
On-site, real-time analysis of water and soil samples can reliably be performed by a technician using the portable PDV. Water samples are analysed directly with only the addition of the electrolyte solution, whilst soil samples require a simple extraction procedure to solubilise any metals into solution. The PDV6000plus provides users with an exceptionally powerful tool for onsite testing. On-site, real time testing enables fast decisions saving valuable time and money by identifying pollution hotspots enabling more efficient, targeted remedial action.
Continuous, real time heavy metal monitoring
The OVA is the most accurate and flexible online system for continuous heavy metal monitoring available today. The system has a wide ranging capability including:

elemental mercury, significantly minimising potential contamination risks

Data is accessible either via the built in PC or remotely via intra or internet.
